"At our annual meeting, we asked several of our members from the coast to speak to the group and tell about their experiences
with Katrina...Your music had an evocative effect on our membership that was very powerful and made the experience very meaningful
for everyone..." -Elizabeth C. (Betsy) Henderson, MD

I watch the falling leaves of autumn, the barren branches that waver under the strength of the winds of my
own life. I move to write these feelings on paper, but the words fall short, a barrier that I cannot reach beyond.
They don't quite connect to what I am truly trying to say, not in itself. Sometimes, the synergy of music and poetry
is the only way that I can capture and release the feelings that I have inside.
When
I write, it is almost as if I am confiding in a wise and trusted friend... it is an incredible release that would have remained
bottled up...and yet, when I am done, I can share this moment of honesty with others. The stories, behind the poetic
words, explain the events in my own life through symbolisms. These symbolisms are the driving force behind why I write.
Soulwire is music purely focused on artistic expression. I live my life
with the same artistry that I write. They are the same. The "vocalist" is in the poetry that guides
the music. It is only bound by the feelings and perceptions that drive the need to write these songs.
Each song is a piece of life that is translated, symbolized, recreated into music notes and writings.
